United Abolitionists

For more than two decades, United Abolitionists has campaigned against modern-day slavery in our own backyard. They educate, equip, and empower the community while providing critical triage for survivors of human trafficking — a 24/7 hotline, HOPE Recovery backpacks, and coordination of safe shelter and transportation.

IDignity

IDignity restores dignity and hope by helping people regain legal proof of their identity — birth certificates, Florida IDs, Social Security cards — at no cost. These documents unlock access to housing, employment, healthcare, and education for the poor and disadvantaged across Central Florida.

National Pediatric Cancer Foundation

The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation funds research to fast-track less toxic, more targeted treatments for childhood cancer. Through its Sunshine Project™, it unites top doctors and researchers at leading hospitals nationwide with one goal: a faster cure for the children who need it most.

Why It Matters

A venue with a purpose

Since 1965, the Venue on Lake Lily has existed to serve its community. We're a non-government-owned, non-government-supported 501(c)(3) nonprofit — founded and funded by the residents of Maitland. Every dollar from a rental sustains this storied place and the causes we believe in.

That means your wedding, your conference, your celebration of life does more than fill our halls. It helps fight human trafficking, restores identities to the overlooked, and funds the search for a cure for childhood cancer.
